NOPD Eighth District protests: October 1-7, 2020

The New Orleans Police Department’s Intelligence and Eighth District is monitoring seven evenings of planned protests:

Thursday, Oct. 1 at 6pm

Friday, Oct. 2 at 2:30pm

Saturday, Oct. 3 at 6pm

Sunday, Oct. 4 at 6pm

Monday, Oct. 5 at 6pm

Tuesday, Oct. 6  at 6pm

Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 6pm

March locations could possibly include the federal buildings on Poydras Street (500 and 650 Poydras St.), New Orleans City Hall, Mercedes Benz Super Dome, down town area/French Quarter, and elevated portions of I-10 or West Bank Expressway. Historically, the groups involved have had 100 to a couple hundred protesters.
