City of New Orleans replacing sidewalks on the lake side 800 block of Decatur Street

Start Date:        Wednesday, September 6, 2017

Schedule: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Friday (weekend work possible)

Duration: Approximately three weeks

What to expect:

• Removing and replacing sidewalks along the lake side of the 800 block of  Decatur St.
• Installing ADA-compliant curb ramps.
• Installing access ramps for impacted storefronts / residents during construction.
• Temporary disruptions to access of storefronts for approximately one hour. Stores will be notified a day in advance.

Be careful when driving, bicycling or walking near active construction sites!
