The Catholic church holds similar masses for other professions, including a Red Mass for those in the legal field, a Blue Mass for law enforcement and a White Mass for medical professionals.
The Olive Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at the cathedral, followed by a reception at the Ursuline Convent from noon until 3 p.m. The events are free and open to the public.
