French Quarter filming: Monday, Oct. 22 – Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018

From Monday, Oct. 22, to Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, a production company will be filming night time scenes at the 1000 block of Canal Street, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 7 a.m.

On the nights of Tuesday, Oct. 23, and Wednesday, Oct. 24, the 1000 block of Canal Street (CBD side, between South Rampart Street and Roosevelt Way) will be closed to traffic between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m.

On the night of Wednesday, Oct. 24, filming will include simulated special effects, including non-pyrotechnics air pressure blasts, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Law enforcement officers will be on site to ensure public safety and to help facilitate the work and traffic flow.
