French Quarter Road Closure: Wednesday, May 16, 2018

Entergy has begun improving utility infrastructure in the 500-800 blocks of Bourbon Street. As part of this proactive, accelerated effort ahead of Phase II of the city’s French Quarter Infrastructure Improvements Project, they will begin working at the corner of St. Louis and Bourbon streets on Wednesday, May 16. For safety reasons, that corner will be closed while work is taking place. The closure will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16 and will last for 10 hours each day for approximately five days.

Other work will begin in the 500 block of Bourbon on or about May 23. They estimate that it will take approximately 40 working days to complete the infrastructure improvements along the entire 500 block of Bourbon.
