French Quarter Filming: Tuesday, March 17 – Wednesday, March 18, 2020
NCIS: NEW ORLEANS will film in the French Quarter on TUESDAY, MARCH 17TH AND WEDNESDAY MARCH 18TH The main company will move in and begin filming in the area from approximately 7AM TO 7PM. THEY WILL BE CONDUCTING A CONTROLED SIMULATED EXPLOSION that will take place inside the PREMIUM PARKING LOT, P249, located at 520 Toulouse St. They will have on hand Orleans Parish Fire Safety Officers and all necessary city organizations.
Parking will be affected on the following streets from:
FRIDAY, MARCH 13TH, 12:01AM-11:59PM – PREP
- 500 BLOCK OF TOULOUSE ST (MARIGNY SIDE FOR TRUCKS)
MONDAY, MARCH 16TH, 12:01AM-11:59PM – PREP
- 500 BLOCK OF TOULOUSE ST (MARIGNY SIDE FOR TRUCKS)
TUESDAY, MARCH 17TH, 12:01AM to WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18TH 11:59PM – SHOOT
- 500 BLOCK OF TOULOUSE ST (MARIGNY SIDE FOR TRUCKS)
- 500 & 600 BLOCK OF DECATUR ST (LAKESIDE)
THURSDAY, MARCH 19TH, 12:01AM-11:59PM – STRIKE
- 500 BLOCK OF TOULOUSE ST (MARIGNY SIDE FOR TRUCKS)
FRIDAY, MARCH 20TH, 12:01AM-11:59PM – STRIKE
- 500 BLOCK OF TOULUSE ST (MARIGNY SIDE FOR TRUCKS)
They will have the support of Orleans Parish law enforcement officers to help provide safety to crew and pedestrians and provide intermittent traffic control during filming hours. Intermittent Traffic Control will take place from 9AM- 3PM and resume at 6PM.
They WILL HAVE INTERMITTENT TRAFFIC CONTROL AT THE FOLLOWING INTERSECTIONS:
- ST LOUIS ST AT CHARTRES ST
- TOULOUSE ST AT CHARTRES ST
- DECATUR ST AT TOULOUSE ST
- ST LOUIS ST AT DECATUR ST
If you have any specific parking concerns, contact them as soon as possible with any special needs so that they might come up with some creative solutions to address said concerns. If you have any loud construction work or large deliveries scheduled for the day in question, please let them know in advance so they can accommodate your needs.
